Now, September 2020, Maothai Palma is history. It was established in Palma, near the Harbor lighthouse and PORTO PI shopping mall, in mid 2003, overlooking Royal Marivent Palace.

The crew & some friends refurbished the restaurant opposite Marivent Palace gate. Since then, Maothai with its 55 seats enjoys a good reputation as the place to go in Mallorca to dine on authentic Thai cuisine. Thai chefs and direct import of essential fresh vegetables & herbs from Thailand allow maintaining high quality standards.

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes to satisfy critical local and international tastes. Takeaway service is available in sealed containers to enjoy at your home, yacht or other locations. For lunch there is a moderately priced choice menu. Private parties & CATERING are available upon request.

We take our pride in offering you an outstanding list of wines, carefully chosen from Spanish and French vineyards, that pair with the intense flavors of Maothai’s delicately spiced Thai cuisine.

Maothai is easily accessible by taxi or public busses (Number 3 & 46) going to Illetas, Palma Nova and Andratcz, or by car via the Paseo Maritimo interchange, exit Cala Major. It is a short walk from the harbor and CALA MAYOR or BONANOVA area. You may find street parking indicated on the map, or you may ask our staff for help. Do pass on an opportunity to sample one of the best Thai food in all of Europe, the other side of Asia !!!
